It was a great place to stay in Freiburg im Breisgau. The location was marvellous, at a medium distance from Freiburg Cathedral. Besides, we where very close to the tourist spots in the city, the shopping center in a quaint side street and a good area.

The breakfast was amazing for all tastes, the best I had in Freiburg im Breisgau. The staff were really helpful and useful, overall. The location was nice, relatively near Freiburg Cathedral. It also was perfect to stay in the city center.

The location was magnificent and absolutely perfect, just a short stroll away from Schwabentor.

Our stay was such wonderful, greatly enjoyed amazing breakfasts.

Economy queen room had a large bed. The location very close to city centre was nice. The train station was within 15 minutes' walk away.

Pretty standard and incredibly beautiful property with a marvellous breakfast. Great and lovely location to a town square. Located in a quiet street with a shopping street and a market. Honestly no complains at all.

Everything here was good and my room was large.

Everything was great, had a very comfortable stay on business trip. The staff were PLEASANT and super-friendly. The hotel was in a very central setting in the centre of the city. No complains at all, the venue met the needs, couldn't recommend more it.

Double room with a bath. Marvellous breakfast for all tastes and magnificent location. Location near the Cathedrale and Old Town, trams out of town and the train station.

Wi-Fi signal was not good.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. Its central location allows easy access to all the best that the city has to offer, while still being situated in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms provide a wonderful view of Freiburg's Schlossberg, and the basic amenities are all in place. The hotel has a simple modern style and a terrasse that serves as a gathering place for smoking guests. Additionally, the breakfast is included and caters to all tastes.

My family and I recently stayed at the Stadthotel Freiburg Kolping Hotel. We liked the fact that although it is in the town centre is it situated in a quiet street---hardly any noise from traffic. We also appreciated the staff's prompt response to our requests. Thank you.

big bathroom + tub which was great; room size good; good location with 2 min walk to shops & restaurants; clean and good size rooms

Many insects in the bathroom; ventilator insufficient during summer time - air conditior is highly recommended, especially for room on the 3rd floor (under the roof!) - boiling hot during night time.

The location of the hotel was convenient, being within walking distance to the city center and the main train station. This made it easy for us to explore the city and get around. the breakfast spread offered at the hotel was quite enjoyable. It was a great way to start the day with a variety of tasty options to choose from.

There were a few aspects of our stay that I was not pleased with. the room we stayed in on the rooftop was extremely warm and did not have air conditioning.

Great Spot

The location was the best part, close to shopping, downtown, and hiking trails – everything you need for a perfect vacation spot. we got two complementary drinks when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Lastly, the room we got was massive, with plenty of space for us to spread out and relax.

The beds were not the most comfortable, and some parts of the hotel could use a facelift. However, the worst part was the staff reception, which was really unfriendly.
